External body
When Apple brought back the latest iPhone 12 flat sides design, it was pretty nostalgic. So there’s a good chance the iPhone 13 will not change its exterior design. But Kuo has also withdrawn his statement saying that Apple’s MagSafe, well, its ecosystem isn’t mature enough. Right now, the Lightning port is where Apple feels safe and many users like it like that.
Refresh rate
Apple does not disclose the iPhone’s refresh rates. If you don’t know this already, the iPhone 12 models have a 60Hz, just like the iPhone 11 displays. But now that some Android competitors have moved on to 120Hz, predictions suggest that even Apple will follow suit with the iPhone 13 Pro. Apple will make this happen using the LTPO technology in their Pro displays to amp up the refresh rate to 120Hz.
The upgrade cost
Based on speculations, the iPhone 13 models may not be a major upgrade from its predecessor. So even when it comes to price, there’s a chance its price will hover close to the iPhone 12 models. If you want to know, the iPhone 12, which started at $799, spiked revenue and profit, making it the largest in Apple’s history. Given those circumstances, the company is likely to try the same pricing structure again.
New name
We know that all of us are eager for the launch of the iPhone 13, but once again, there’s a chance that Apple may ditch the iPhone 13 name and go with iPhone 12S with a minor technical upgrade. That said, the iPhone 13 Mini, Pro, and Pro Max are still in the mix.
